What is FlexControl
FlexControl is for creating a touchscreen controller from a tablet or phone for applications and games running in Windows. FlexControl is a two-part system that uses a tablet or phone for input and a windows app to receive and relay the commands to games and applications.
Included is an editor for you to create custom layouts of buttons, labels, and other objects for displaying information or sending commands to games and applications.
Getting Started
Step 1.
Download and run the installer for Windows, you can download the latest version from here https://www.flexcontrol.cc/download
This will install the server and editor software for FlexControl.
Step 2.
Install the FlexControl app from Google Play on your android tablet or phone.
Step 3.
Start FlexControl Server (FCS) on Windows and take note of the IP address in the main window, you need it to connect the tablet/phone app to the server.
Step 4.
Open FlexControl on your tablet or phone and enter the IP address and port on the right side and press connect. If you can't connect make sure that the firewall in Windows is not blocking the port and that both the pc and tablet are on the same network.
Step 5.
When connected you will be shown a list of installed UI to use, select the one you want to use and you are good to go.
Step 6.
Open the editor and create your user interfaces.
Useful tips
- Keybindings in the UI don't match yours, change the used keys in the game or use the editor to change the key set on the buttons in the UI.
- OpenHardwareMonitor is needed for displaying hardware info, start OHM before FlexControl Server.
